Rust is "not" a hacky language.
Rust is not for hacky coders: Hacky coders may find Rust hacky.
C++ was (and almost is) my favourite language.
But two other all-time favourite languages are:
1. Rust
2. Typescript
They both happen to be new (post 2010s).
How Rust is not hacky?
Because it is tapping into some deep mathematical theories that other languages have not tried to use.
