a utopia called brain

Individual neurons is a favorite metaphore which I have developed in last two years. It can be used for playfully fantasizing about brain function and maybe it is useful for speculating about and visualizing what goes on in the brain. It gives a scheme of how complexities can exist there without using formulae (mathematical formula are unable to tell us about complexities and emergent phenomena in a system.)
Brain is a society of neurons. An actual utopia. Each neuron has almost all features and qualities of individual persons in a real society, but in a smaller scale. But the difference is that in brain, we do have a perfect society. Sadly our society of people is so imperfect and is still evolving and being under developement. Sociology can learn much from the brain. This metaphore can be used for the mutual influence and inspiring of the two fields: Neuroscience and Social Sciences. I'll write more about it. ©
