Law is Software

Law is Software.
Writing code (of law) = programming & coding. Law making is Software Development.
SD needs to be informed by methodologies, which is about lessons learned from catastrophic failures. It needs incremental, gradual, in agile closed loops. It is about managing change.

Writing software is hard, and softwares can fail or stagnate in many ways.

Code is also Code.

This first came to mind from reading Hegel’s Phenomenology chapter on Law. Then reminded/reinforced by my friend Jason. It seems obvious now. Later found out that the origin of term code is the Codes of Scottish law.

PS. The Hardware is the judiciary system, not the executive state. The later is more of the I/O.
